Branded Publications

A consistent approach to visual and editorial communications across all media enhances brand awareness among Tech’s diverse internal and external audiences. Thus, the intent of developing brand guidelines is to be inclusive rather than exclusive.

Major university audiences are reached principally through university- and college-level publications, making it important that these publications in particular reflect visual and style standards that reinforce Tech’s brand identity and enhance the image of the university.

In contrast, independent brands depart from the Virginia Tech brand and follow unique identity standards based on their distinctive relationship to the university.

The brand architecture delineates this organizational structure in greater detail.
